Laura Kina addresses contemporary art in relation to critical mixed race studies, Asian American art and identity, and community activism. She is frequently invited to be a featured visiting artist lecturer, juror, classroom speaker, or panel participant on topics relevant to her research. She also presents her work in academic conference presentations and community arts forums.
